Things Are Not Always What They Seem Like

Things Are Not Always What They Seem Like

I received this email from a friend a few days back. These pictures remind me that a lot of times, things do not always appear the way they look like; each has his or her own perspectives in looking at things and not having the same perspectives do not mean that someone is right or wrong. Probably that is why there is the saying, "putting oneself in the shoes of others." Not only will that allow us to understand from the person’s point of view, but also allow us to be more tolerant of each other. A lot of times, misunderstandings or conflicts occurred because of the lack of understandings between people.

11 SHIPS OR 3 SHIPS & 8 ARCHES?

DO YOU SEE FACES OR ALL HOUSES?

How many horses in this picture? There should be 7.

PEOPLE OR FACES?

A PICTURE PUZZLE!

HOW MANY PEOPLE?

SEE MORE THEN ONE DEER?

Look at the middle column. Where does it end?

Who is the tallest?

A face? Or the word "liar"?

What do you see here? Do you see the word "LIFT"? Or, a bunch of black splotches? GIRLS ARE ABLE TO SPOT THE WORD "LIFT" EASILY. MEN FIND IT DIFFICULT TO SEE THE WORD "LIFT"!

FIND THE FACES

Focus on the dot in the centre and move your head backwards and forwards. Fascinating?

I love those pictures! It is always interesting to see what you can see if you look at it from a different angle or perspective!

Evil: I got the Lift too without much problem. But I am thinking maybe it’s the hint that helps.

Chelle: That is certainly true. Looking at things from a different angle or perspective can be interesting and sometimes we might just discover something new! πŸ™‚

Yes. There are actually quite a few which I have seen before there. There is one very common picture of a woman wearing a hat or the face of an old lady. I do find such pictures mind opening. They really do put a meaning to the saying, “putting oneself in the shoes of others.”

great collection of pictures you have there! my fave is the one with concentric circles with the dot in the middle. funny how our mind can play tricks on us sometimes.

Very good artistry proving that things are not always as they seem. Also that things are different as they are viewed by different people.

Interesting pictures and a good way to look at things from different angles and perspective. If most people can looking at things like the way they looked through this picture, the world might be a very different place and more tolerance of each other.

Grant, you made a good point and that is the point which I wanted to bring across too – that things are different as they are viewed by different people.

Kin, just as what Grant has said, you made a great point on looking at things from different angles and perspective. And certainly if most people can see things from the point of view of others, then we can be more tolerance of each other.
